Syrian artillery used new indirect fire techniques to destroy heavy weapons of terrorist groups in the provinces of Hama and Idlib, the SANA Syrian news agency reports on July 8.
The Syrian army units consolidated on previously occupied positions, and they overwhelmed with return artillery fire all the terrorist groups’ attempts to counter-attack.
The militant groups suffer heavy losses in the firefights with the army units. For example, in the regions of Jbin, Tel-Melekh, Al-Huwaija, and in the village of Kafr-Zeit, artillery controllers destroyed a command post and various military equipment of the terrorist groups.
Because the terrorists violate the ceasefire regime, they refuse to withdraw heavy weapons from the contact line, and they started shelling the government army units and civilian towns and villages in the provinces of Hama and Idlib, the Syrian army started a new stage of the liberation of its territory from the terrorist groups.
The current situation in the areas of hostilities remains tense; variable combat is going on. The Syrian army, repelling the attacks of the terrorist groups, is regrouping its force trying to find weaknesses in the enemy’s defense.
