The global forces of the new world order are waging a war against traditional values and national identity under the guise of “liberating people”, the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin said at the 10th annual international security conference in Ufa.
“Affiliation with a country or a nation, the values of family and faith, all this is being discarded today for the sake of abstract individual freedom. A swarm of media, various NGOs, transnational corporations, and individual, so to say, philanthropists like the notorious George Soros contribute to promoting this line,” Naryshkin said at the meeting.
Naryshkin added that the mentioned actors take advantage of the psychology of young people, including their trend to reject everything, for destructive purposes. LGBT promotion programs and radical feminism are among the ideas which, according to the Foreign Intelligence Service director, are employed to undermine identity, gender, family values, and the institution of marriage.
The speaker also discussed the global problem of drug trafficking. He believes that in the West, drugs are essentially promoted as a way to solve problems of self-esteem and depression. “In the UN, the so-called narcoliberals led by Canada are trying to undermine the global drug enforcement regime,” Naryshkin added.
He believes that these trends aim at turning people into “atomized, neurotic individuals with a constantly altered state of consciousness” in order to manipulate them, in particular, to direct them towards color revolutions.
Naryshkin also commented on the USA’s continuing status of the global reserve currency holder. As the world becomes increasingly polycentric, “the monopoly of the dollar in international economic relations becomes a relic of the past,” he said.
In 18 to 20 June, an international security meeting is taking place in Ufa, which was organized by the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The participants discuss countering international terrorism and the global security system.
