Russian Aerospace Forces perform mass airstrike on terrorists in Syria

The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a massive airstrike in Syria’s Hama province, the Al-Watan newspaper reports on June 9. The Step News agency published a video of the strike.

The rear bases of the militant groups in the southern part of the Idlib province came under attack on the night of June 9. The militants suffered losses in terms of both personnel and equipment. Airstrikes were also carried out on large militant outposts in Khan Shaykhun, Maaret al-Naaman, Kafr Zita, Murak.

On June 6-7, terrorists made attempts to attack the positions of the government forces.

According to the head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Viktor Kupchishin, the Syrian army eliminated more than 120 terrorists, 5 tanks, 3 infantry fighting vehicles and 9 pickup trucks with the support of Russian Aerospace Forces. The Syrian military also destroyed a multiple-launch rocket system and 2 mortars.
