Venezuela is capable of responding to possible US military interference in the domestic affairs of the state, the country’s Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said at a press conference on May 6.
“We are ready to any scenario,” the Venezuelan Foreign Minister said.
He also added that in the event that the USA chooses the military option, the country has its armed forces, police, and the people; therefore, Caracas is ready to destroy invading military forces of any power.
“We would not like to see this scenario to take place,” Jorge Arreaza concluded.
As it was reported previously, the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow condemns the unprecedented US-led campaign aimed at overthrowing the legitimate authorities of Venezuela.
