Kurginyan: A new power center will emerge when Zelensky’s policy fails

23.04.2019, Moscow.

TV personality Vladimir Zelensky, who has won the presidential elections, will continue Ukraine’s nationalist policy, political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on April 22 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.

A new nationalist team will come to replace Poroshenko’s nationalist team, Sergey Kurginyan said.

“There is a basis for this. So, let us see what the nationalists will do; how exactly this Zelensky policy will fail; how another power center will confront the nationalists, and how these two centers of power will behave in the new Ukraine. Perhaps this will determine the historical destiny of Eurasia?” the political scientist said.

It should be noted that the winner of the Ukrainian presidential election, Vladimir Zelensky, called the Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera a hero.

“Generally, I am comfortable with de-communization. This was the public’s decision, so it’s fine. There are unquestionable heroes. Stepan Bandera is a hero for a certain percentage of Ukrainians, and this is normal and awesome. He is one of those people who defended the freedom of Ukraine,” Zelensky said during his election campaign. He also said he would return Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine.
