Moscow to host large-scale forum on xenophobia and anti-Semitism

The Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) will host a large-scale international conference on extremism in Moscow, RJC press service reported on October 18.

The conference, titled Protecting the Future will open its doors for the second time on October 29–30. About 600 experts from 37 countries are expected to attend the event.

The central topic of the conference is various aspects of extremist ideology. First of all, experts will examine the issues of anti-Semitism, racism, and xenophobia.

According to the organizers, the event will attract representatives of government agencies from various countries, including law enforcement agencies.

The head of the RJC, Yuri Kanner, noted that our country today has one of the lowest rates of anti-Semitism. Kanner believes that Russia can successfully share this positive experience with other countries.

The Russian Jewish Congress is one of the largest Jewish secular organizations in Russia. It was created in the year of 1996.
