06.09.2018, Lugansk.

OSCE observers confirmed that the Kiev military shelled the village of Katerinovka, the spokesman of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) People’s Militia Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko said at a briefing, LuganskInformCenter reported on September 6.

According to the lieutenant colonel, episodes of “friendly fire” between the 14th Brigade’s positions near Zolotoye were also confirmed. First, one case of shelling was blamed on the LPR; but having examined the circumstances, the Ukrainian army made an attempt to conceal this fact, as it became clear that the LPR positions were too far to perform this kind of shelling.

On September 5, observers of the OSCE Monitoring Mission reported explosions near Zolotoye, 150 to 200 meters away from a Ukrainian checkpoint.
