Russian military escorted the refugees from Busra al-Sham to Al-Na’im in the Deraa province (Syria), stated the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic on July 12.
The Russian military police escorted the column consisting of 400 people including 40 militants who laid down their arms to Al-Na’im locality liberated from the militants. Cars, buses, and motorcycles were used to bring the people to the place of destination.
On July 7, the Russian Defense Ministry informed that the commanders of the local armed groups agreed to cease fighting in the Syrian province of Deraa.
The agreements between the government forces and militants were reached with the support of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides.
