12 civilians killed in Syria by US-led coalition’s air strike

12.06.2018, Damascus.

At least 12 civilians were killed and two injured by the airstrikes of the US-led coalition, TASS Agency reported citing the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on June 12.

US-led coalition was reported to strike at dawn, the citizens of the village of Tel al-Sha’ar on the south of Al-Hasakah province came under fire.

The so-called “international coalition” acts on the territory of Syria illegally and in violation of international law, without the consent of the legitimate and internationally recognized government. The coalition’s forces started their intervention in September 2014 on the pretext of fighting the ISIL terrorist organization (organization banned in Russia).

Back in 2017, the Syrian government has repeatedly appealed to the UN Security Council calling to bring the United States and their coalition allies to justice for crimes against civilians on Syrian soil.
