The Ukrainian army shelled the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) five times over the last 24 hours, the Lugansk Information Center reported on May 26.
The positions of the LPR People’s Militia were shelled near “…the Molodyozhnoe settlement, the villages of Kalinovka, Logvinovo, and Zhelobok.” No civilian casualties are reported.
80 and 120 mm mortars, an infantry fighting vehicle, automatic grenade launchers, small arms, and anti-tank grenade launchers were used in the shelling.
A day before, the positions of the Kalinovka and Logvinovo settlements were reported to be shelled by the Ukrainian army using 80 and 120 mm mortars. Thus, the shelling of the LPR and DPR territories does not stop for a single day despite the “Easter ceasefire” agreement.
