A review of Russian media publications about the Immortal Regiment campaign in 2018 on May 6 was published on the Vzglyad newspaper’s website.
The media covered the marches of the Immortal Regiment, which took place in the USA, Japan, Australia, Italy, Turkey, Macedonia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Argentina, Cuba, Brazil and Chile.
The number of countries participating in the Immortal Regiment campaign is increasing every year. This way, in 2018, the Immortal Regiment for the first time marched through the capital of Zambia.
In some of the countries, the Immortal Regiment is held on Saturday on the eve of May 9, in some countries the march takes place several times – the number of countries participating in the Immortal Regiment will grow until May 9.
In 2017 the Immortal Regiment” was held in more than 60 countries and gathered (excluding Russia) more than 250 thousand participants. In Russia, according to the Ministry of the Interior, in 2017 more than 6 million people took part in the march, of which more than 850,000 people marched in Moscow.
