Deep inside, we are not prepared to accept how the world is changing. Kurginyan regarding the new era

11.04.2018, Moscow.

The principles that have been fundamental to the ruling class since the French Revolution are now being abandoned, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on April 9 on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program of the Russian Channel One.

“We are witnessing the death of evidence. The death of the fact as such. The death of law as it existed since the French bourgeois revolution, when the presumption of innocence etc. appeared. Now, all this is abandoned in practice… This means that we are returning to a sort of an estate-based law typical of previous periods,” Kurginyan explained.

According to Kurginyan, this is indicative of a turning point to which the transition from the Palaeolithic age to the Neolithic age pales in comparison. “We are existing in a kind of a terrible transition abolishing the concepts which were deemed fundamental by the ruling class itself for the whole era. This is a general [trend ― Rossa Primavera Information Agency], we see this, we understand it, but still we cannot accept this deep inside, because we want to believe that the world is still the same,” the political scientist explained.

Western countries, first of all the UK and the US, have adopted a practice of accusing other states and proceeding with further actions while it is officially recognized that the investigation has not been completed, and no final expert opinion has been given.

The US has repeatedly accused Syria of using chemical weapons. On April 4, 2017 western media reported that Syrian government forces conducted an air strike using sarin gas in the Idlib province. Before any investigation was performed, the US launched 59 missiles against a Syrian air base. Accusations against Bashar al-Assad of using chemical weapons continue. On April 7, 2018 a number of non-governmental organizations, including the White Helmets, made a statement that in the city of Duma, Eastern Ghouta, chemical weapons were allegedly used against civilians.
