During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army shelled the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) four times, the LPR Ministry of Defense stated, Lugansk Information Center reports on February 27.
“Areas of the town of Kalinovo, villages of Kalinovka, Dolgoye, and Kalinovo-Borshchevatoye were shelled,” the Ministry specified.
The shelling was conducted with the use of 120 mm and 82 mm mortars and IFV armament which the Minsk Agreements banned from being placed at the demarcation line.
According to earlier information from the LPR, a train with weapons and equipment for Ukrainian forces has appeared in Donbass.
Since 2014, the Trilateral Contact Group members have spoken many times about the reaching of truce agreements. The Kiev junta constantly violated the agreements, using weapons which have been banned at the demarcation line by the Minsk Agreements and by the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
