Biden's statement indicates that US has new plans for Ukraine

US Vice-President Joe Biden’s revelations about his manipulations of the Maidan government testify that the US is ready to put a new puppet government into power in Ukraine, REGNUM news agency reports on January 29, 2018.

In his interview, Biden said that the US authorities demanded the Ukrainian government, which came to power after the Maidan, to sack Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin. In return, the government was promised a loan for $1 billion. According to Biden, Pyotr Poroshenko did not immediately agree to meet these conditions, but he was forced to surrender after a tough ultimatum.

“I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time” said Biden.

Biden’s most recent statements demonstrate the lack of independence and the controllability of the Ukrainian government and indicate that the US intends to put a more obedient government into power in Ukraine.

“In essence, Joe Biden’s revelations say the following: the Maidan government of Ukraine is an American puppet; the owners are unhappy with the way it is acting; they are going to replace this one to another, more obedient, and less thievish (at least in regards to Washington’s funding),” believes Andrei Gurkin, REGNUM political observer.

In January 2018, the US ambassador to Ukraine and a number of American news outlets began to report on the crimes of the current Ukrainian government and accuse Pyotr Poroshenko of corruption.
