A relief convoy of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived to the territory of Donbass, the Ministry informed on its website on December 21.
The trucks finished customs clearance procedures and moved to unloading points in Donetsk and Lugansk. The Russian convoy delivered about 450 tonnes of humanitarian cargo including food products, medicaments, medical equipment, and New Year’s gifts for children of Donbass.
The Russian Federation has been delivering humanitarian aid to the conflict zone in Donbass since 2014. The cargoes are being delivered by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. More than 70 humanitarian convoys were formed and sent there.
