The only thing the US expects from Russia is capitulation, and it does not consider any other options, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 30 at the Time Will Tell TV show on the air of Channel 1.
Answering the host’s question about whether we should negotiate with the United States, Sergey Kurginyan unambiguously said that there was “nothing to negotiate about”. To explain his answer, the political scientist said that, in his opinion, the only thing the US expects from Russia is capitulation, which would consequently destroy the country.
“No intermediate options are considered,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement said.
Sergey Kurginyan also explained that in defending its economic interests, the US follows a neo-colonial approach, which means destroying other countries, initiating civil wars on their territory, and using other similar methods.
According to the political scientist, the only way out of this situation for our country is to consolidate our society as much as possible.
“Therefore, the only thing we can do in this situation is consolidate our society and all the components of our system to an extent when they [the US ― translator’s note] will never dare to attack not only directly, using nuclear weapons, but also on our flanks, i.e. using our political class,” Kurginyan said.
On October 26, the US Department of State published a new list of Russian companies to be subject to sanctions. This list included 33 companies, mainly from the defense sector, for example, Almaz – Antey, Concern Kalashnikov, and Russian Helicopters Group.
