The Republican Trauma Centre of DPR carried out over 40 free hip replacement operations for residents of the territory under Kiev’s control in Donbass, reported the Donetsk News Agency on the 27th of October.
Endoprosthetic replacement surgeries are undertaken in the framework of a free humanitarian program which started in July 2017. Free medical help is also received by people living in territories of Donbass occupied by pro-Bandera Nazi forces. “At the moment already 41 patient from the Donbass territory, which is temporarily under Ukraine’s control, had undergone surgery”, said the director of the Trauma Centre Alexander Kravchenko.
After the formation of DPR and LPR in 2014, part of the Donbass territory remained under the control of the Ukrainian pro-Bandera Nazi authorities. Also, punitive battalion formations consisting of radical Ukrainian nationalists were deployed on the territory of Donbass. People living in DPR and LPR suffer from the constant bombardment by pro-Bandera Nazi troops. Mass media is consistently reporting on civilians of Donbass being wounded and killed by Ukrainian army’s fire.
