Five ceasefire violations registered in Syria in the last day

The representatives of The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides registered five cases of ceasefire violation in the last 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry reported on October 22.

According to the information provided in the bulletin of the Ministry, “Situation in the de-escalation zones is assessed as stable. Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered five cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (3), Daraa (1) and Damascus (1)”. It is noted that the small arms fire was ragged and came from the territory controlled by the terrorists.

Over the past day, members of The Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic carried out two humanitarian actions. They delivered 1.7 tons of goods to Zbeid in the province of Aleppo and 5 tons of goods to the village of Jaba in the province of Quneitra.

The Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic started its work on February 23, 2016. It provides humanitarian assistance to civilians in addition to implementing a mechanism for monitoring the compliance with the ceasefire.
