Ukraine promotes the Bandera policy under the European umbrella, and Germany is one of the countries, which is trying to use the process in its interests, like it did a hundred years ago, researcher Rustam Valiev said on October 11 at the conference “Ukrainism: Who constructed it and why”, Rossa Primavera News Agency reports.
Today, Germany considers Ukraine an economic appendage and an instrument with which to deter Russia; foreign agents are rapidly taking over Ukrainian natural resources, Valiev said.
The researcher stressed that this German policy is not something unprecedented; but rather, it has a long history.
For example, in 1918 the German government set an objective to export as much grain and bread as possible from Ukraine, which at that time was under the control German troops, even if it required using the army or dispersing the Ukrainian government.
In their correspondence to each other, German officials called Ukraine an occupied territory, but they publicly called it a state friendly to Germany.
Valiev also added that Nazi Germany discussed driving the indigenous population off of Ukrainian lands, to then inhabit the territory with Germans. Ukraine’s contemporary leaders in Donbass act in the same manner, the researcher stressed.
The scientific-practical conference “Ukrainism: Who constructed it and why”, organized by Essence of Time social movement and Experimental Creative Centre International Public Foundation, took place in Moscow on October 11 and 12.
The emphasis of the researchers, who presented a monograph by the same name via the conference, is not on real history of Ukraine, which is firmly connected with Russian history, but the fundamentally anti-Russian construct of “Ukrainism”, which had been created over many centuries, and which the present Ukrainian regime is actively implementing.
Throughout the conference, the “Ukrainism” construct’s key formative moments were analyzed in detail; the common logic of its evolution was delineated; its modern forms and its most dangerous prospects of development were discussed.
