Reconnaissance units of the Donetsk People’s Republic found 20 pieces of Ukrainian heavy artillery and tanks near the contact line, the DPR Deputy Operation Commander Eduard Basurin said on October 6, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Basurin, the Ukrainian army continues drawing equipment to the border with the DPR.

“The Ukrainian army commanders continue moving heavy weapons near the contact line. We have found nine tanks, four 100 mm Rapira anti-tank guns, and seven 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery vehicles,” Basurin said.

In violation of the Minks agreements of ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line, the Ukrainian army continues shelling towns and villages of Donbass. According to the DPR, the Ukrainian military uses the relatively quiet period to draw military vehicles and build fortifications along the frontline.
