An attempt to assassinate Donetsk People’s Republic’s Minister of Revenue and Fees Alexander Timofeev has been made on September 23, official DPR’s site reports.
There were two explosions, according to law enforcement representatives. Timofeev is in a critical condition at the moment. Beside the Minister, another 8 were injured. Explosive devices went off in the center of the city of Donetsk.
Alexander Timofeev holds position of Minister since September 14, 2014. He is also Deputy Chairman of Donetsk People’s Republic’s Council of Ministers. The injured Minister performed coordination between 6 DPR’s ministries related to economics.
In addition, another explosion in the center of Mir avenue in Donetsk was reported in the morning of September 23.
