President of the United States Donald Trump does not exclude military actions against North Korea, the White House press service said in a statement on August 31, Tass reports.
For Trump “all options are on the table” and military confrontation with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) is not the last among them, the President’s press secretary, Sarah Sanders, said.
“The President has been pretty clear that he feels that there could be (a military solution)”, Sanders explained to reporters.
However, Sanders noted that the USA does not negate diplomatic solution to the North Korean problem.
On August 29, North Korea conducted a ballistic missile test in the Japanese airspace. The missile flew 2700 km at the altitude of 550 km above Japan and fell into the Pacific ocean. Japanese Missile Defense System as well as American THAAD installed in South Korea to “protect allies” could not shoot down the missile.
