The Ukrainian army is provoking combat near Yasinovataya and redeploys the military equipment in Mariinka.
During the day, combat of varying intensity was underway on the Gorlovka, Donetsk, and Mariupol directions of the front. In the evening, the shootout erupted in the area of the Avdeevka industrial zone and the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint. The Ukrainian side was using 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms. There is no information on the damages and the victims among the civilian population.
According to Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia, the Kiev military redeployed around 1,500 of personnel in Artyomovsk. Moreover, there is information on the redeployment of three infantry fighting vehicles, 2 armored personnel carriers, and two 120mm mortars to Mariinka.
On August 26, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 24 times. 9 towns and villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic came under enemy’s fire.
