The attack of ISIL (organization banned in Russia) militants in the east of Homs province was repelled by Syrian army units in cooperation with ally forces, SANA informs on the 10th of August.
As a result of the failed ISIL (organization banned in Russia) terrorists’ attack in the east of the Homs province, about 80 militants were destroyed. A large number of weapons was confiscated, including rifles, armored vehicles, and pickup trucks equipped with machine guns.
ISIL (organization banned in Russia) lost the major part of its positions in the east of Homs province due to the operations that Syrian army and its allied forces carried out at the beginning of July 2017.
