DPR: Ukrainian army redeploys military hardware and heavy artillery to the contact line

Fire intensity on the front line decreased, but the Ukrainian army continues to violate the ceasefire near Gorlovka and Donetsk, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on June 25.

On the Gorlovka segment of the contact line, the Ukrainian military shelled the villages of Zhovanka and the northern outskirts of the city.

On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint and former Donetsk airport as well as the village of Spartak.

The Ukrainian army continues to redeploy heavy artillery and military hardware banned by the Minsk Agreements to the contact line. DPR PM intelligence uncovered the location of 2 batteries of Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers near Zarya. The military personnel and heavy weaponry including Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were redeployed to the village of Vladimirovka by railway. 3 trains with ammunition for heavy artillery, for tanks, and for the MLRS were noted in Volnovakha. It was reported that a tank column consisting of 2 tanks companies has been moving through the village of Vozdizhenka in the direction of Avdeevka. The Kharkov territorial battalion arrived in Avdeevka. There was information on the arrival of around 50 foreign instructors supposedly from the USA and Canada in the area of Konstantinovka. The main task of the instructors is to train the Ukrainian army’s soldiers of conducting the offensive according to the NATO’s standards.

On June 24, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 19 times. 12 towns and villages of the Republic were shelled. One DPR serviceman was wounded as a result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling.
