Over eighty ceasefire agreements signed in Syria on June 19

88 ceasefire agreements were signed in Syria on June 19, according to the Bulletin of the Russian Defense Ministry.

4 ceasefire agreements were reached with Ahrar al-Sham group. According to the Bulletin, 4 application forms were signed with leaders of Ahrar al-Sham group which operates in Aleppo province. Therefore, the number of armed groups that claimed to observe ceasefire increased to 223. The number of settlements that joined the peaceful process has totaled 1717.

Also, it was noted in the Bulletin that the negotiations on joining the ceasefire was continued with the detachments of the armed opposition in Aleppo, Damascus, Hama, Homs, and el-Kunaytra provinces continued.

It should be noted that along with continuing conflict de-escalation in Syria, the violations of ceasefire are observed on the territory of the Republic at times. The Russian representatives of the joined Russian-Turkish Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement registered 12 violations of the ceasefire on June 18 and 7 violations on June 19. In most cases, ragged fire is observed in the territories controlled by the militants of ISIL (organization banned in Russia) and Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia). On the whole, the situation in de-escalation zones was described as stated in the Bulletin of the Russian Defense Ministry.
