A multisport competition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War veteran and Soviet Union Hero – schema-archimandrite Kirill (Pavlov) took place in G. T. Beregovoj name’s Republican boarding lyceum with enhanced physical and military training on May 27. Schema-archimandrite Kirill participated in the war against Finland, fought from Stalingrad to Romania, Austria, and Hungary, and also participated in the war against Japan. The spiritual journey of seminary student Kirill Pavlov started in 1946, and it brought him to the rank of a schema-archimandrite.
Participants of the tournament were competing in pull-ups, throwing grenades, shooting, running of 100 m and 1 km. There were both individual and group trials. Guys were also helping out each other and giving advice to one another. The competition went on in a fun and friendly manner. In the end of the event, competition winners were awarded with prizes.
