DPR: Ukrainian army is ignoring its ceasefire obligations

The Ukrainian army is ignoring the previous agreements on the establishment of the ceasefire since midnight of June 1; the enemy is intensifying the shelling of the front-line areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic (the DPR), a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on June 2.

On the Gorlovka direction, the Ukrainian army again opened fire on the northern outskirts of the city as well as the villages of Zaytsevo and Golmovsky with tanks, grenade launchers, and small arms. The Ukrainian reconnaissance drones were noted in the south-west of Gorlovka.

On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint, Yasinovataya, the village of Spartak, the area of the former Donetsk airport, and the village of Aleksandrovka in the southwest of Donetsk. Electric power was lost in the Donetsk water filtration plant as a result of the shelling. The enemy used tanks and mortars.

South of Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk came under the Ukrainian artillery’s fire. There is no information on destructions and victims among civilians.

On the Mariupol direction, the village of Lukovo came under the Ukrainian side’s shelling. 2 houses, as well as the building of the tractor brigade, gasoline station, and the power lines, were damaged

On June 1, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 34 times while shelling 17 towns and villages of the DPR. The Ukrainian military opened fire with heavy artillery, mortars, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers, and small arms.
