The Ukrainian army intensified fire along the Donetsk direction, the situation remains tense on Gorlovka and Mariupol directions, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on May 6.
On the night of May 6, a 36 years old woman in the second month of pregnancy sustained multiple injuries during the mortar shelling of Trudovskiye, in the west of Petrovsky district in Donetsk. The woman being in serious condition was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the physicians were unable to save the life of a child. Another resident of the village, a 48 years woman, was wounded by the Ukrainian army’s sniper in the afternoon. Moreover, one house and outbuilding were damaged be the Ukrainian army’s artillery fire.
The Ukrainian artillery had been provoking trench combat by shelling the villages in the south of the DPR.
According to recent data, on May 5, the Ukrainian side violated the ceasefire 54 times. The enemy opened fire on the villages and towns of the DPR with tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers, and small arms.
