Spanish expert: Roots of forced foster care system lay in fascist organizations

21.04.2017, Russia.

An investigation has made it possible to conclude that the roots of the Spanish system of forced foster care come from fascist organizations. Such a conclusion emerges from factual data provided by members of the Spanish anti-child-trafficking movement “Turquoise Wave” (Spanish: Marea Turquesa),  Spanish human rights activist Vera Rodionova stated in her speech during the Third Congress of the All-Russian Parents’ Resistance organization. That is reported by Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter today, on April 15th.

The human rights activist gave historical references on organized child kidnapping during the Franco regime. The right-wing military dictatorship of Francisco Franco lasted from 1939 to 1975.  Transferring infants from “unreliable” parents to “ideologically right” adoptive parents was common practice during the dictatorship. The Catholic Church, which supported Franco, and which was governing Spanish hospitals, schools and orphanages played a key role in this practice. About 300 thousand infants were kidnapped by the Franco regime. Later, that system transformed into a mafia branch that began to abduct children out of commercial interests.

The human rights activist highlighted the link of the forced foster care system with a number of international organizations, representatives of which (Nazi criminals, who managed to hide from justice) had created mechanisms for sexual and other exploitation of children half a century ago.

“One such organization was the “Organization of Former SS Members”, (ODESSA). The aim of the group was to help former SS members avoid prosecution, smuggling them to other countries and continents. For example, in Africa and Latin America”, said Rodionova.

The human rights activist stressed that many organizations currently operating in Spain have similarities with the above-mentioned structure. These organizations can only be closed with the help of the anti-child-trafficking movement of parents’ organizations, which provides witness testimony of what is going on there.

The Third Congress of the All-Russian Parents’ Resistance organization (Russian: RVS)  titled “The Impending Catastrophe and How to Combat It” was held in Moscow on April 15th. Delegates from 64 regional offices arrived at the event. Members of The Federation Council and State Duma also participated, along with ombudsmen for children’s rights from a number of regions, clergy from various denominations, family and children’s experts that work in science, the arts, and education, from other parental organizations.

Participants gathered to discuss paramount social and political questions. For example, an alternative report from the RVS organization to the President of Russia with an analysis of child protection services’ practices of removing children from families was presented during the Congress together with a strategic report on the political situation in Russia by Sergey Kurginyan, the leader of the “Essence of Time” movement.
