US denies coalition attack on warehouse belonging to militants in Deir ez-Zor

The United States denied reports of the international coalition attacking an ISIL (organization banned in Russia) warehouse in Deir ez-Zor, reports Russia Today on Wednesday, April 13.

US Air Force Colonel John Dorrian, a representative of the international coalition led by the United States, denied reports of strikes in the area of Deir ez-Zor on April 13, 2017. He speculated that such an accusation could only be a deliberate act of misinformation by the Syrian authorities.

On Wednesday, April 13, the General Staff of the Syrian Army reported that the international coalition had attacked an ISIL (organization banned in Russia) warehouse in Deir-ez-Zor, where chemical weapons were being stored. Syrian sources claimed that, “Around 5:30-5:50 PM, aircraft of the so-called coalition struck the warehouse, where a large number of foreign mercenaries were located”. At the site of the missile strike, a white cloud formed first, and later a yellow cloud appeared, which indicates the presence of a large amount of poisonous substances. “The fire at the site lasted until 10:30 PM”, added the Syrian sources.
