Situation on the front line in DPR remains tense

The situation on the front line remains tense. The Ukrainian army violates ceasefire 50 times per day on average, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 8th.

The Ukrainian army is provoking trench combat on the northern and south-western suburbs of Gorlovka, in the area of the village of Krasny Partizan, in Avdeevka industrial zone, near the village of Trudovskiye in the west of Donetsk, and in the area of the village of Kominternovo in the south of DPR. The Ukrainian military are using artillery, tanks, and small arms.

In the afternoon, power lines were damaged in the village of Elenovka as a result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling. The Ukrainian military shelled the village of Yasnoye near Dokuchaevsk, where the sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of DPR were disclosing the explosive ordnance at that moment. Fortunately, no one was wounded.

According to DPR PM Command, during the past day, one serviceman of the Republic was killed, and another one was wounded.

DPR intelligence informs on the arrival of 500 militants of the so-called Islamist battalion in the zone of responsibility of the 36th Marines brigade of the Ukrainian army to the south part of the front.

According to recent information, on April 7th, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 56 times. 21 towns and villages of DPR came under the Ukrainian army’s fire. 2 women were wounded by shrapnel in the village of Trudovskiye in the west of Donetsk.
