ISIS guerillas (organization banned in Russian Federation) launched an attack in the Western part of Homs Province today, April 7, the Arabic Agency AMN reports.
“Taking advantage of the consequences of the US missile strike, the ISIS (an organization whose activities are banned in Russia — Rossa Primavera News Agency) went on the offensive against the Syrian Arab Army near the strategic city of Al-Furqalas,” states the report.
During the night of 7 April, the US Navy ships fired more than 50 Tomahawk missiles at Syrian government forces on Shairat Air Base in the province of Homs. As a result of the attack, 3 people are reported to be killed and more than 12 were injured. According to Pentagon representatives, the strike hit the airbase that allegedly was used by the Syrian government to attack opposition forces with chemical weapons.
