The Ukrainian reconnaissance groups are using the vehicles with the OSCE insignia while moving around and gathering intelligence, as Lugansk Information Center informs on April 3rd.
“Representatives of the OSCE mission confirm our information, which we have repeatedly presented, concerning the Ukrainian army’s usage of the autos with the OSCE insignia in conducting reconnaissance in violation of all principles and international law,” the official representative of the Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Militia, lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko stated.
Marochko also reported the areas, where the autos, disguised as the vehicles of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM), were noted, “Another incident of this kind took place recently in Avdeevka. Earlier, such gray [OSCE] patrol was noted in the area of Zolotoye“.
The OSCE SMM was invited by the Ukrainian government on March 21st, 2014. Mass media informs that the OSCE representatives had still not managed to win the trust of Donbass residents and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics authorities.
