It is still relatively calm on the front line but the Ukrainian military does not cease the shelling of the positions of the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM), a source in the DPR PM informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 3rd.
In the north of Gorlovka, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the villages of Zaytsevo and Zhovanka with mortars, heavy machine guns, and small arms. The Ukrainian military are shelling the area of “Volvo-Center” and Avdeevka industrial zone in the north of Donetsk with heavy 120mm mortars.
According to DPR intelligence, Ukrainian Command deployed 2 batteries of 120mm mortars in the area of the villages of Pervomayskoye and Nevelskoye, north of Donetsk. Moreover, 2 batteries of 122mm D-30 howitzers were noted in the area of the villages of Novomikhailovka and Taramchuk, south of Donetsk.
DPR PM Command informs that the Ukrainian army is preparing provocations on the eve of Easter. According to available information, the Ukrainian side is going to accuse the DPR People’s Militia of murdering of a churchman.
During the past day, on April 2nd, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 36 times. One house was damaged as a result of the shelling of the DPR territory.
