The Poles, for the first time, showed the real face of the crimes of the Bandera Nazis, these murders and rapists guilty of genocide, who are presented as heroes to the people of Ukraine, the Essence of Time movement leader Sergey Kurginyan stated during the “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” show on Russia-1 TV Channel on March 21st.
In Sergey Kurginyan’s opinion, during the Soviet times, the whole truth was not said about the Ukrainian nationalists’ crimes because “they respected the national dignity of the Ukrainian people.” Now, the question of the Bandera Nazis will arise before the people of Ukraine, “They are calling this horror [Bandera Nazis – Editor] national heroes, aren’t they? These people, who would cut open the wombs of pregnant mothers? The Heavens cry about what is Bandera; it is an endless horror, it is even worse than any Waffen-SS.”
“Volhynia” became the very first Polish film about the genocide against the Poles conducted by the Ukrainian nationalists during World War II. The genocide against the Poles took the lives of around 75-100 thousand people. The grisly crimes committed by Bandera Nazis during the Great Patriotic War1 are becoming of vital importance in light of recent events in Ukraine, where the authorities, who seized power after the coup d’etat, have chosen the ideology of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Organization banned in Russia)2 and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (Organization banned in Russia)2 as the basis for their own ideology. This idea is supported by the portraits of Bandera, placed at the main streets of Kiev and in the corridors of the government buildings, and by the top officials’ statements calling nationalist punishers, in the ranks of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (Organization banned in Russia) during the war, heroes.
