During the day, the Ukrainian army shelled a number of towns and villages on the Gorlovka and Donetsk directions, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on March 11th.
On the Gorlovka part of the front, the village of Golmovsky came under Ukrainian military’s fire. 3 houses were damaged, one civilian was injured.
The Ukrainian army shelled the northern and western suburbs of Donetsk. In the Kievsky district, a roof of the house was destroyed by a direct hit of the shell, and another shell struck to the territory of “Zasyadko” coal mine. In the Petrovsky district, one house completely burnt down, and another one was damaged. North of Donetsk, the enemy opened fire on Yasinovataya, where 2 houses were damaged, and the village of Krutaya Balka, where power lines, transmitting electric power to the Donetsk water filtration plant, Avdeevka, and Avdeevka Coke Plant, were damaged. South of Donetsk, 3 houses were damaged in the village of Luganskoye.
On the south direction, the situation remains tense. The Ukrainian army again shelled the village of Kominternovo. The Ukrainian military are provoking trench combat along the contact line.
According to DPR PM Command, during the past day, one serviceman of the Republic was killed.
DPR intelligence continues to uncover heavy artillery banned by the Minsk Agreements. On the Mariupol direction, a battery of 122mm “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery vehicles was noted. On the Gorlovka direction, the arrival of a battery of 152mm “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery vehicles in the area of Magdalinovka was reported.
DPR PM Command summarized data on the shelling conducted during March 10th. The Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 88 times. 10 rockets were fired with multiple launch rocket systems. Heavy artillery was used 113 times. The territory of DPR was shelled with mortars 427 times. Infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers of various kinds, and small arms were also used. 15 towns and villages came under Ukrainian military’s fire.
