Sergey Kurginyan: Either authorities do not exist in Ukraine or they are in partnership with the criminals

Either authorities do not exist in Ukraine, or they are in partnership with the criminals; political scientist, Essence of Time movement leader Sergey Kurginyan stated during the show “First Studio” on February 17th.

During the show, the situation in Ukraine, in particular, the blockade of coal shipments from Donbass, was discussed.

“Tell me, please, how long does it take in the United States or in Russia to remove a group of criminals blocking rail transport from the railway tracks? To remove them calmly and politely? 2 hours? 3 hours? 4 hours? Well, how long? The question is that there is a group of criminals there [in fascist-held part of Donbass], which is blocking rail transport. They have been doing this for 20 days. Do you understand? It means that either authorities do not exist in Ukraine, or they are in partnership with the criminals,” Sergey Kurginyan stated.

Recall that former participants of the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” [the way Kiev junta refers to its punitive operation] blocked the “Lugansk-Lisichansk-Popasnaya” railway track and a level crossing near the city of Bakhmut. The aim of the blockade is to stop trade between Ukraine, and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. On February 19th, around 1,000 people, including militants from the nationalist battalions, gathered on Maidan square in Kiev to demand the legalization of the blockade against Donbass. Several protesters were arrested by the police after attempting to break a police cordon near the National Bank of Ukraine. All the detainees were released today.
