The shelling of towns and villages of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) were especially heavy during the night of February 3rd. It was relatively calm during the day, but the intensity of the shelling increased in the evening.
In the north of the DPR, the Ukrainian military shelled Gorlovka, the villages of Golmovsky, Zaytsevo, Shirokaya Balka, Mikhailovka. The Ukrainian army used multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), heavy artillery, tanks, mortars, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), and small arms.
Donetsk was violently shelled. Ukrainian military attacked Kievsky, Kuybyshevski, Kalininsky, and Petrovsky districts with MLRS. 2 schools, No. 19 and 65, 2 kindergartens No. 354 and 204, the district administration building, as well as multiple story buildings on Artema, Gornaya, Mironov streets and Kievsky avenue were damaged. Civilians were injured. Makeevka, Yasinovataya, the villages of Vasilevka, Krutaya Balka, Yakovlevka, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Staromikhailovka, Signalnoye, Trudovskiye, Aleksandrovka were also shelled.
The Ukrainina army also heavily shelled the village of Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk.
On the Mariupol direction, the Ukrainian military shelled the villages of Novolaspa, Petrovskoye, Belaya Kamenka, Kominternovo, Dzerzhinskoye, Leninskoye, Sakhanka using heavy artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, IFV, and small arms.
On the southern direction, the Ukrainian army shelled a number of villages and towns. An apartment building was damaged in Telmanovo. Power lines were damaged in the villages of Krasny Oktyabr and Pervomayskoye. A woman was injured in the village of Leninskoye. The village of Starolaspa, Oktyabr, Kominternovo, Dzerzhinskoye, Sakhanka, and Bezimennoye also came under enemy fire.
During the past week, 6 civilians were killed and 34 were injured in the shelling of residential districts in DPR towns and villages by the Ukrainian military. According to DPR People’s Militia (DPR PM) Command, 18 militiamen were killed and 26 were injured during the same period of time.
DPR Ministry of State Security informed that the Ukrainian fire correction agents have become highly active. Spying activity by infiltrators has also increased.
Since January 29th, the Ukrainian army attacked the DPR PM positions 10 times. 2 attacks took place in the area of the village of Kominternovo, and the enemy attacked in Avdeevka industrial zone 8 times. According to DPR PM, the Ukrainian army lost 600 soldiers killed and wounded in these attacks.
