A civilian, resident of Makeevka, lost his arm as a result of Ukrainian army’s shelling.
The man received the heavy injuries at around 10:45 in Makeevka, in the Scheglovskaya-Glubokaya mine area. It is also reported that yesterday, on February 1, in the evening two residents of Kievsky district of Donetsk (59-year old and 44-year old) were injured by the shelling and hospitalized.
The military situation in Donetsk People’s Republic sharply escalated in the past few days. According to DPR People’s Militia Command, 36 towns and villages of the Republic got shelled by Armed Forces of Ukraine yesterday. A civilian woman got killed as a result in Makeevka, an ambulance got hit by the shelling in Donetsk – the driver, paramedic and a civilian got injured. Many houses, gas pipes and infrastructure buildings were damaged, Donetsk, Yasinovataya and a part of Makeevka lost access to water supply from the shelled water filtration plant.
