LPR People’s Militia continues to register the crimes of the Ukrainian military

20.01.17, LPR.

In the zone of the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” (the way Kiev junta refers to its punitive operation – Editor), Kiev junta’s military opened fire on Rail Maintenance crew with small arms, The Head of the People’s Militia Administration of Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Colonel Oleg Anashenko claimed during a briefing today.

“We continue to register the cases of looting and crimes against the peaceful civilians on the part of the Ukrainian army soldiers and militants of the national battalions in the ‘gray zone’,” he stressed.

“For example, on January 18th, Ukrainian militants of the 24th brigade on the Novotoshkovka [village] direction shot Rail Maintenance crew, performing rail inspection and repair of railroad tracks, with small arms. After arriving at the scene of the accident, the monitors of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission [to Ukraine] registered bullet holes in the driver’s cabin.” Anashenko specified.

The Head of LPR People’s Militia Administration also informed that “another fact of sacrilege was reported in Troitskoye village”.

“Nationalists of “Dnepr-1” battalion, many of whom are originating from the western Ukraine, raid parishes and homesteads and pillage icons, altar lamps, and other pieces of church utensils from the locals. The loot is to be taken away from the zone of punitive operation and sold on the black market,” he explained.

“Moreover, we became aware of the outrageous acts of vandalism being committed by the militants of the so-called Right Sector volunteer corps. These acts are similar to Fascist activities during the times of Great Patriotic War (Great Patriotic War is the name used to refer to the part of World War II which started with the invasion of Nazis into the Soviet Union and ended with the Red Banner over Reichstag and defeat of Nazis from the hands of the Soviet people – Editor),” Anashenko stressed.

“The Nationalists are removing and destructing books and textbooks in Russian from school libraries in the zone of the so-called “anti-terrorist operation,” he explained.

A spokesperson of LPR People’s Militia Major Andrey Marochko reported earlier that the Ukrainian army soldiers opened fire on a police car. Police officers arrived after receiving a looting report from a local resident (a woman) of Zolotoye town controlled by Kiev junta

Anashenko also stressed that the Ukrainian Command is concealing acts of violence and looting against the peaceful residents of Lugansk region on the part of the Ukrainian military as well as the real losses among the personnel.
