Ukrainian serviceman shot himself in the leg to avoid participating in punitive operation

Yet another fact of the non-combat casualties in the Ukrainian army was revealed, a spokesperson of Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) People’s Militia Major Andrey Marochko stated during briefing in Lugansk Information Center. A serviceman of the 14th brigade of the Ukrainian army shot himself in the leg, not willing to participate in the so-called ‘antiterrorist operation’ (Kiev junta’s punitive operation – Editor). He served in one of the units of the brigade of the Ukrainian army deployed near Teploye village.

The [Ukrainian] Command tries to conceal this fact,” the Major said.

Marochko stressed that this incident confirms that the Ukrainian side “is unable to keep its personnel at the contact line and make them die for its corrupt government.”

Yesterday the spokesperson informed that the Ukrainian army serviceman died from hypothermia because his commanders forgot to release him from a post of duty.

Earlier the spokesperson of LPR People’s Militia claimed that 2 officers of the Ukrainian army, who served in the zone of Kiev junta’s punitive operation, committed suicide.
