Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered 20 new hemodialysis apparatuses in LPR

Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) received 20 new hemodialysis apparatuses as a part of the humanitarian aid from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Acting LPR Minister of Health Igor Solyanik informed today, at the meeting of the Council of Ministers with LPR Head Igor Plotnitsky.

It is my pleasure to say that 20 new hemodialysis apparatuses are already brought into operation. So, anyone in need for this kind of treatment can apply for it,” Igor Plotnitsky stressed.

20 new apparatuses were set up, the necessary equipment for them was also delivered,” Igor Solyanik informed.

He also noted that the medical staff undergoes the mandatory training program, as the apparatuses are of new generation.

Igor Solyanik added that the old hemodialysis apparatuses are also intended for work, “the necessary equipment and materials for them are available for the next 3-4 months.”

On October 27th, 2016, 14 trucks of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered almost 180 tons of humanitarian aid including 67 tons of medicine and medical equipment.
