The situation remains tense on the Gorlovka part of the frontline. Ukrainian army periodically shells the northern and western outskirts of the city, trench combat continues in Zaytsevo-Mayorsk area. The enemy uses mortars, grenade launchers and high-caliber machine guns. Republic’s AA defense opens fire to suppress enemy’s UAVs, which conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire.
Avdeevka industrial zone, Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages are being shelled by Armed Forces of Ukraine. Approximately 200 artillery and mortar shells were fired at the area of the capital.
Combat of varying intensity continues on the southern direction.
DPR recon continues to register the accumulation of banned by Minsk Agreements hardware and artillery of the enemy. Two 152mm “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery gun (SPG) batteries, a battery of 122mm “Gvozdika” SPGs, a battery of 122mm D-30 howitzers, three platoons of mortars, a tank and motorized company were discovered on Gorlovka, Donetsk and southern directions. Right Sector battalion militants were discovered west of Gorlovka.
During the last seven days Ukrainian army opened fire at frontline areas of DPR 5118 times, including 3224 times by mortars, artillery and tank guns. 57 houses and social infrastructure buildings were damaged. 23 towns and villages of the Republic were shelled.
