Ukrainian military continues to shell towns and villages on Donetsk and Gorlovka directions. Recon regsitered facts of arrival of military hardware, ammunition, as well as foreign mercenaries to the frontline.
Combat is underway on Gorlovka direction throughout the day. During the day intensive shootouts took place in the area of Debaltsevo and Lozovoye. In the evening the enemy concentrated mortar, tank, grenade launcher, IFV and small arms fire on Golmovsky and Zaytsevo villages.
Armed Forces of Ukraine periodically shoot at Avdeevka industrial zone, Staromikhailovka and Trudovskie throughout the day by artillery, IFVs, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
DPR recon informs that a company of foreign mercenaries of private military corporations arrived to the area of Shyrokaya Balka (Gorlovka direction). A train with 12 “Grad” multiple rocket launchers and four train cars of ammunitions arrived to Novobakhmutovka (Donetsk direction). Location of six tanks and positions of three self-propelled “Gvozdika” artillery guns is spotted near Mariupol.
According to updated information, on October 28 Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the territory of the Republic 459 times, including 407 times by artillery systems. According to DPR Operations Command, Zaytsevo near Gorlovka; Verkhnetoretskoye, Yasinovataya, Mikhailovka, Spartak, Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka near Donetsk; Elenovka near Dokuchaevsk; Zaichenko, Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye in the south of the Republic were shelled. 8 houses and power lines were damaged in Elenovka. Another three houses were damaged in Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
