Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack on the southern part of the front in Leninskoye village, at the same they started shelling Sakhanka village (both villages are in Novoazovsk district), Donetsk News Agency reports.
“Today up to a company of enemy’s forces, after artillery and mortar preparation that started at 8 a.m., undertook another attempt to attack our positions. Combat is underway, the enemy is suffering losses, five Ukrainian soldiers are killed, 10 are wounded,” DPR Operations Command informed the journalists.
At the same time administration of Novoazovsky district claims that Sakhanka village near Leninskoye is being shelled by mortars. “Shelling of Sakhanka started at 8 in the morning, mortars and small arms are fired,” the acting Novoazovsky district head Anatoly Yanovsky told Donetsk News Agency.
Information regarding casualties and destruction is currently being specified.
