One serviceman of Donetsk People’s Republic was killed repelling the attack of Ukrainian army in the southern part of the frontline, DPR Deputy Operations Commander Eduard Basurin said during his daily briefing in Donetsk News Agency press-center.
“At the present moment this attack of the enemy was stopped at the cost of the life of one DPR serviceman. Three servicemen were injured while defending their land,” he said.
Up to a company of Ukrainian soldiers attacked DPR today at 8 in the morning. They were supported by heavy artillery and mortars. According to latest data of the Command, the enemy fired 32 122mm shells and 18 120mm mortar shells at DPR positions.
The attackers were reportedly members of the Ukrainian “Azov” neo-Nazi organization. According to Operations Command, they lost 5 people dead and at least 10 injured.
