DPR conductor performed “Masterpieces of Russian Music” concert in Lugansk Philharmonic Hall

17.10.2016, Lugansk.

Academic Symphony Orchestra of Lugansk Academic Philharmonic Hall, with the conducteor Vladimir Zavodilenko from Donetsk People’s Republic, performed the concert “Masterpieces of Russian Music”, which included compositions of prominent Russian composers.

We arranged the concert in such a way to have contrasts – one could see the soul, which is poetical, energetic, which is going to fight, and, at the same time, the evil, against which people are struggling and overcome it in the end,” Zavodilenko said.

Orchestra musicians started the concert with the orchestral suite in three movements “Symphonic Dances” by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

I want to especially emphasize the composition ‘The Rock’ (a symphonic poem by Rachmaninoff – Editor), which is written on the basis of Lermontov’s poem, here he very poetically reveals the inherent nature of Russian people,” the conductor stressed.

The concert was concluded by the performance of the composition “Night on Bald Mountain” by Modest Mussorgsky.

The concert was integral, indivisible, and energetic, I enjoyed it very much and experienced positive emotions. The performing mastery of our orchestra musicians is just incredibly high,” viewer Liliya Kuzmina shared her impressions.
