Urgent message from DPR Operations Command. Armed Forces of Ukraine once again try to breach the lines of defense of People’s Militia in the south. At 13:50 (12:50 Berlin time), after a massive artillery preparation by heavy 152mm guns, the enemy launched an offensive in the area of Leninskoye village, up to one company of troops are advancing. As of 15:00 the combat still continued.
DPR Operations Command demands OSCE Mission to undertake immediate measures to compel Ukrainian military to cease fire.
According to DPR Deputy Operations Commander Eduard Basurin, one Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle was destroyed during the attack, five Ukrainian militants were eliminated, Donetsk News Agency reports.
It is already the second attempt of Ukrainian army to breach the lines of defense in the south this week.
