Gorlovka, Donetsk and Mariupol directions remain to be the most dangerous ones. The enemy once again attempted to breach DPR defenses in the south of the Republic.
Northern and western outskirts of Gorlovka are once again shelled by Ukrainian artillery. Hits are registered in Zaytsevo village. The enemy uses tanks, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms from Mayorsk, Artyomovsk and Dzerzhinsk.
During the day trench combats in the northern outskirts of Donetsk took place in the area of Spartak village, Avdeevka industrial zone and Yasinovataya checkpoint. The enemy fires infantry fighting vehicle guns, mortars and large-caliber machine guns. Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages in Petrovsky district of Donetsk came under Ukrainian artillery fire.
Today Ukrainian army attempted to breach the front on the Mariupol direction. Approximately 100 soldiers of the enemy and armored vehicles, covered by artillery support, for several hours attempted to capture positions of DPR People’s Militia in the area of Leninskoye village. The attack was deflected, the enemy had at least 10 men killed, one IFV was destroyed.
During the past seven days, Ukrainian army fired at frontline areas of the Republic 2060 times. 1598 times the enemy fired artillery systems. 28 towns and villages were shelled, over 30 houses were damaged.
